Rumors about a potential sequel to Final Fantasy XIII have been brewing ever since fans discovered the domain “finalfantasy13-2game.com” was registered to Square Enix. Now it’s official. Square Enix has announced that there will be a numbered sequel to Final Fantasy XIII.
The only other numbered sequel to an already numbered Final Fantasy game was Final Fantasy X-2.  Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3, and has a release date in Japan of later this year. |
