According to the rumor mill, as picked up by IGN, courtesy of Impress Watch, an attendee at a recent Square Enix investor’s event notes that there is a chance that Final Fantasy Versus XIII, slated as a PS3 exclusive, could make its way to Xbox 360. Apparently, Square Enix saw sales of Final Fantasy XIII bolstered by Xbox 360 in a significant way, and CEO Yoichi Wada was asked specifically whether or not the same multiplatform treatment would be given to Versus. Reportedly, Wada made the following statement: “We’ll be looking into it internally until right before the formal announcement.” Meaning, it is an idea that is being batted around over at Squenix. E3 should reveal… TGS at the latest.
