GBA4iOS Emulator Removed from the Appstore

GBA4iOS Emulator Removed from the Appstore

The App Store has seen plenty of copyright-infringing games. Nintendo especially has had its share of problems with the App Store, such as when they found out about the terrible Pokémon ripoff . Today, Nintendo issued a DMCA notice to the developers of the popular GBA4iOS , a Gameboy Advance emulator for the iPhone and iPad.

Anyone who has already downloaded the app can still use the GBA4iOS emulator. Otherwise, you can no longer download the app to your iOS device. However, Riley Tetsut, creator of the GBA4iOS app, isn’t giving up. According to his Twitter profile, the emulator was “on track to reach 10 million unique downloads,” and the app will only “temporarily be suspended.” I’m sure there will be more legal updates in the near future.
