Popular streaming video service Hulu Plus is now available on current Nintendo handhelds. This includes the 3DS, 3DS XL, and the new 2DS. Unfortunately, no actual 3D capabilities are integrated with the service. So no 3D movies for you, no matter how cool it sounds.
Hulu Plus is available for a subscription rate of $7.99 a month. It allows users access to episodes of most current network shows and several cable shows. It also has hubs for anime, children’s programming, movies, and much more. The PC version of Hulu is free, but allows only restricted content viewing. Upgrading to Hulu Plus allows you to get rid of all the advertisements on the PC version, and unlocks Hulu’s entire library. Ads will be seen no matter what on console versions, including the 3DS client.
