Much has been made about the first title due from Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants, the PSN remake of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath. However, both companies have been rather skittish when it came time to talk about other potential projects between the companies. While that remains true, Joystiq has gotten some interesting information in an email from Just Add Water’s Stewart Gilray.  First off, he stated they’d be working on six titles with Oddworld Inhabitants. This leads to speculation that Just Add Water may very well be finishing Oddworld Inhabitants’ originally planned Oddworld Quintology. Gilray also discussed the relationship between the companies stating “As I’ve said in the past the relationship is very symbiotic, whilst we are doing the work on it, we like to involve [Oddworld Inhabitants], so they can see progress, they can suggest things, we can ask their thoughts/opinions on stuff, it’s very much a co-production in some respects.” Here’s hoping we finally get the final installments of the Quintology that fans have been waiting for. |
