While the Oddworld series has been a longtime fan favorite, we haven’t seen a new title in about five years now. Fortunately, it looks like this long dry spell is about to come to an end, given the statements made on Just Add Water’s (JAW) site. According to a recent post, the developer has been working closely with the people at Oddworld Inhabitants on multiple projects spanning multiple platforms over the last twelve months.  JAW’s Managing Director Stewart Gilray had a few things to say about the experience including “To work with the team at Oddworld has been amazing; being able to tap the minds of Lorne Lanning, Sherry McKenna and others has been fantastic,” and “We’re all extremely excited to breathe life into the Oddworld universe and indeed to let it breathe life into us.” While there were no specifics given about their upcoming projects, details were said to be incoming over the coming weeks and months. |
