Kikstart 2 is a motorcycle racing videogame that was released for the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum. The game is based on the BBC television series Kick Start. The title was received well and achieved more accolades than the previous game in the series. It’s praised for its split-screen gameplay and other game modes for players to enjoy. It laid down the foundation for more recent bike racing games like Motocross.
The Premise Of Kikstart 2
The basic premise of Kikstart 2 is to control a bike using acceleration, braking, and other biking maneuvers to navigate across a course of various obstacles, from ramps and gates to telephone boxes and tires. Players can play against their opponent in a race to the finish post, or they can win by aggregated finishing times. This allows the user to place any obstacles on a blank track and later save and share completed courses.

Other Titles Of The Kikstart Series
There are only two Kikstart games with the other being Kikstart: Off-Road Simulator. In the game, the player takes on the role of a stuntman controlling a stunt motorcycle. It’s similar to the sequel in many ways even though the sequel was more popular with consumers.
