Kinect Gets its First Ridiculous Peripheral

Kinect Gets its First Ridiculous Peripheral

None

Although Wii owners are no strangers to weird, unusual, and practically useless peripherals, thus far the Kinect motion controller and PlayStation Move have not had the deluge of crap peripherals that have plagued Nintendo’s system. However, the floodgates seem to have opened just a crack today, and the first really awful Kinect Peripheral was announced. Dubbed the “Game Boat,” this peripheral is essentially an inflatable raft that you can put on the floor while you are playing the river rafting portions of Kinect Adventures. The peripheral doesn’t actually do anything in regards to the game. You just sit in it, and the idea is that it feels more real… or something. Maybe they can sell Kinect-branded squirt guns too in the future so your buddies can simulate river splashdowns in Kinect Adventures as well! Think about it. Is it any less ridiculous?
