Mass Effect: Andromeda Footage Shows the Game in 4K

Ready for a really good look at Mass Effect: Andromeda ? As in, actual gameplay? Well, we got it yesterday. EA had gameplay footage showing the PlayStation 4 Pro compatible game at the PlayStation Meeting 2016. It was a pretty impressive showing, attempting to display the sorts of visuals, high dynamic range lighting, and HDR10 support on the system. It also let us see a bit of what Ryder and his companions will be going through in the game.

But enough talk. Let’s see Ryder in action in Mass Effect: Andromeda . It’s pretty impressive (and I like that Asari’s voice acting!). I wish the other companion hadn’t had that helmet on!

I do wish they had shown the female version of Ryder in the Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer. I mean, the male version of Commander Shepard was pretty much the promotional default for the original Mass Effect. When the female version of Ryder was in the Mass Effect Andromeda E3 trailer, I kind of hoped she’d be the default for this installment’s promotional materials.
