Nintendo has announced its first mobile game, and it isn’t what you expected. Trust me on that. Instead of going with a traditional IP and gameplay, it seems to be taking inspiration from Tomodachi Life . In Miitomo , people create a Mii avatar and watch as it interacts with their friends’ Miis.
Few facts have been revealed beyond the initial screenshot above, but it has been confirmed that Miitomo is a free-to-play game. People will be able to pay for additional outfits and accessories for their Miis.
Miitomo will come to Android and iOS devices in March 2016. It was supposed to be released before the end of the year, but there have been some slight delays. In addition, Nintendo confirmed it will release four more mobile games by March 2017.
