Nintendo Is Hosting a Direct Tomorrow

Nintendo Is Hosting a Direct Tomorrow

Nintendo has (out of nowhere) announced that it will be hosting a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, March 3. The Direct will be hosted by Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata, joined by Ed Valiente of Nintendo’s European publisher business department. The Direct will be focusing on all of the Wii U and 3DS games coming out this spring and summer, so hopefully we’ll be getting some good news about Star Fox Zero, or at least some new footage.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Miitomo is due out this month, and didn’t Nintendo promise that 2016 would be the year that it spills about the NX? Both of those things are true, but don’t get your hopes up. It seems as though Nintendo made a point to mention very specifically that it wouldn’t be discussing the NX or its plans for mobile. So pretty much the only thing we have to get hyped about would be new Star Fox Zero footage. I couldn’t care less about Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games (please Nintendo, don’t spend a lot of time on this), and we’ve already seen so much of Pokken, Twilight Princess HD, and Hyrule Warriors Legends. Tune in tomorrow at 5 pm EST to see what Nintendo has up its sleeve.
