I knew that Nintendo’s Direct would be bringing us some new information on Star Fox Zero , I just didn’t know exactly what it would be. Multiplayer trailer? Release date? Well it turns out to be a little of this and a little of that. I actually got trolled pretty hard during the Direct. Here was the setup: Bill Trinen’s voice is bright and promising. “Previously we announced that the launch date for this title was delayed, but now we have a new launch date ready to announce.” What’s this? “Here we go,” thought I, “huge announcement! Come on, 2015 surprise release!”
“Star Fox Zero will be released on April 22, 2016.” Damn! That’s even further away than I would have guessed for a 2016 release date. Oh well. So there you have it; we still have quite a wait ahead of us before we pilot our Arwings into battle. In the meantime, you can enjoy a great new trailer.
