Mortal Kombat X Streaming PC Version Filled With Bugs

Mortal Kombat X Streaming PC Version Filled With Bugs

Last night, Moral Kombat X became available for Streaming Download, one of the first games available to do so on Steam. This basically means that the core portion of the game is downloaded before all the rest of the game content. This allows you to do things like train with characters or fight offline before things like the story and challenge modes are downloaded.

At least, in theory. Unfortunately, the service is far more broken in practice. The core menu of the game was downloadable last night, but content packs weren’t released until today. This caused the game to boot and crash almost immediately on many computers. Now, even though users have downloaded the content packs they needed, people are still reporting crashes of the Steam version of Mortal Kombat X if they tried to stream it first.

What about you? Is your version working? Let us know in the comments.
