Although Move peripheral has been a steady seller for the PlayStation 3, the device has yet to get that “killer app” that will entice even the most hardcore fan to pick up the motion control device. However, rumors have been swirling that Sony has been pressuring developer Naughty Dog to use Move controls in Uncharted 3 to help drive sales of the peripheral. Naughty Dog has responded to this rumor, but stopped short of confirming or denying the presence of Move-enabled controls. In a statement they did say that Sony is “not telling us we have to use Sixaxis or Move. They’ll say it’d be nice, of course, but they’re not going to go against our judgment if we say it’s not the right thing to do.”  So, now that we know that Sony’s not pressuring them either way, does that mean Move controls will still happen? Perhaps. We’ll just have to wait from official word from Naughty Dog, which could come at any time. |
