The teaser footage shown this past weekend announcing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was certainly very exciting, but fans of The Elder Scrolls Franchise were quick to notice that there was no gameplay footage included in the trailer, which prompted worries that the game may be relying on the archaic engine used by The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. However, Bethesda Softworks confirmed via press release this morning that they have indeed created a new engine for the game that will make for much better visuals and get rid of the dreaded “dead eye” that so many users complained about from the first game.  |
