While anybody aware of the game’s content would have seen this coming a mile away, Privates has been officially cancelled for the Xbox 360 (via 1Up). Developer Zombie Cow Studios’ Dan Marshall laid out the situation surrounding the game on their official site stating “The guys at Xbox have been amazing. They’ve been really supportive and helpful throughout, but ultimately have advised that the game wouldn’t pass the Indie Games Peer Review process, purely due to its inherently sexual nature.”  However, the news isn’t all bad as Marshall continues, adding “It’s a shame, but it’s something we’d always pretty much assumed would happen. Since launch, we’ve been working flat out on the PC version of Privates, improving it and getting it running on as many different systems as possible. As a result, all of the pesky crashes and issues have finally been fixed up, and it’s running smoother and better now than ever before.” As such, anyone interested in playing a “tiny little man blasting away inside someone’s innards” can still get their fill on Zombie Cow Studios website. |
