Project X Zone Crossing The Ocean In June

Project X Zone Crossing The Ocean In June

Though Street Fighter X Tekken was the first Namco Bandai/Capcom mash-up to make its way over to Western markets, the two companies have previously combined forces on a couple of Japan-only titles like Namco X Capcom, a strategy RPG that combined characters from both developers’ oeuvres in a multiple-reality-spanning adventure.

Project X Zone, meanwhile, adds Sega into the mix. The game is developed by Monolith Software, probably most notable for their work on the Xenosaga games, and is actually coming to North America. To that end, the ESRB has rated it, slapping it with a T for Teen.

More to the point, the game’s website itself now lists the title for release on June 25, just a few weeks after E3. Project X Zone, in all its cross-franchise glory, will be exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS.
