Last week gamers everywhere rejoiced when several sources seemed to confirm that the PSN would be back up and running in a matter of days. However, the week came and went, and the network never did come back online. Fast forward to this week, and it seems Sony is less optimistic about the PlayStation Network coming back online any time soon.  According to financial news service Bloomberg, Sony now has a goal of restoring services by May 31st, but nothing is for certain, and they can’t provide an accurate timetable at this time. What does this mean for gamers? Well, if nothing else, we all might learn to love single-player modes that much more. |
