Last night, an interesting Assassin’s Creed-related rumor hit the Internet. According to Kotaku, a Best Buy employee snapped a few pictures from one of their in-house news sources, which may show off the star of Assassin’s Creed III. If the pictures are trustworthy, they would add a bit of credibility to the recent rumors that Assassin’s Creed III will be set during the American Revolution. The background of the image contains a representation of the original Continental flag. And the protagonist appears to be wearing a circa 18th-century wardrobe. 
Obviously all of this is simply a rumor at this point, but it would make sense considering what’s been circulating in the rumor mill. Either way, we won’t know for sure until Ubisoft makes some kind of official announcement. By Josh Engen |
