RUMOR: Mass Effect 3 Features Kinect?

RUMOR: Mass Effect 3 Features Kinect?

None

You know that the E3 rumor mill has gone into overdrive when box art starts becoming fuel for speculation. Apparently, someone at EA mistakenly uploaded an image of revised Mass Effect 3 box art that features a “Better with Kinect” logo right below the title. Mass Effect 3, a sci-fi action RPG, doesn’t seem like the type of game that would benefit from Kinect support. I mean, what could you do? Shoot at enemies with your fingers? Navigate menus with your hands? And imagine the love scenes…

Actually, don’t do that.

In any case, some forum users are claiming that even though the image was pulled down only moments after it was spotted, it’s still being hosted on EA’s servers. This does lend a twinge of credibility to this rumor. But don’t believe it quite yet. Mass Effect still seems like a very unlikely game to have Kinect support. But hey, we’ve been wrong before, so we’ll just have to wait until Tuesday to find out the truth.
