Shadowrun Kickstarter Raises A Million Dollars

The Kickstarter campaign for the new Shadowrun title, Shadowrun Returns , originally set out a goal for a $400,000 budget. Today, the campaign has broken $1,000,000 raised and is still growing.

The Shadowrun team posted a new video today thanking all the fans that backed the project, and promising something special should the project reach $1,500,000 in funding.



Should the project reach its new goal, the design team will create a brand new “backers only” campaign that only donators will be able to experience. The campaign will link together both the SNES and SEGA Genesis Shadowrun titles. That means that all the classic characters from the 16-bit days will return, along with classic settings and story elements. It’s a real treat to anyone who has been a Shadowrun fan since the days of their youth.
