Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse , the latest Shantae game for the 3DS, has unfortunately been delayed. WayForward talked about the game on Twitter stating that the game will take a couple more months to finish.
Note, that this isn’t the Shantae game that made a dumpload of money via Kickstarter. Instead, this is a traditionally funded Metroidvania style game in which Shantae will be able to explore a humongous world through the use of several different power ups.
The Kickstarted game that you are thinking of is Shantae: Half-Genie Hero , which doesn’t yet have a release date.
