TGS 2011: Cross-Platform Content In SFxTK

None

Yoshinori Ono has become known for not only his quirk, but also for his willingness to make drastic changes to his games for the sake of his fans. Though his motivations may be far from altruistic, he is willing to admit when a game is poorly balanced and prepare a fix. Now, he brings a note of relief to gamers torn between purchasing Capcom’s upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken on the Vita or PS3.

In an interview during the Tokyo Game Show last week, Ono revealed that content purchased for a PSN account would work on both the PS3 and Vita versions of Street Fighter X Tekken. Not having to buy the same content twice just to play it on the go versus in one’s home? Ono, you magnificent, flamboyant man, you!

In the same interview, Ono talks of a yet-to-be-finalized fight-stick peripheral for the Vita, but is quick to remind gamers that Capcom and Mad Catz are still only talking about it, having yet to decide if it’s a definite thing.
