First it was the PSN. Then SOE. Now it looks like individual websites are being hacked. The official website for Deus Ex: Human Revolution went down yesterday and was hacked by a group of people led by “Chippy1337” The hacker’s signature was displayed on the home page for several minutes before the entire thing was brought down.  Unfortunately, it looks like the hackers got what they came for before the site was brought down, as the online resumes of job applicants were leaked as well as the email addresses of those who had accounts on the site. Though it seems passwords were stored safely and other personal information was not part of the breach, the continued attack on gaming networks and game-related websites is unsettling. |
