Xbox Entertainment Awards Hit By Hackers

Xbox Entertainment Awards Hit By Hackers

Less than 24 hours after their website’s launch, the Xbox Entertainment Awards has already run into some tough times. The site was recently hit by a cyber-attack, leaving the names, e-mails, and gamertags of voting participants exposed. Not only that, but it also allowed hackers to edit or delete votes as they see fit. Some hacker out there really wanted to see his favorite game win, I guess.

Currently, the site has been taken down, and Microsoft has assured us that they are working to find the culprit. We will bring you more information about this security breach as it becomes available.
