The long-rumored PlayStation Phone has achieved an almost mythic status in the minds of gamers as something that was oft-rumored, but never revealed. However, it seems the time for rumors has officially come to an end with pictures surfacing of a prototype model of the phone. The structure of the phone is very similar to the PSP Go, with slide-out controls and a compact design. A notable omission is the absence of an analog nub, which has been a staple of the PSP design. No official tech specs have been released, but many are speculating that the phone will run Google’s Android platform and feature an exclusive PlayStation download store where users can download PSP games.  |
