Xenoblade Chronicles Finally Coming To The U.S.

None

Xenoblade Chronicles sold like hotcakes in Japan and in Europe, and strangely, Nintendo still refused to localize it for a U.S. audience. Now, after importers have already gone nuts over the game—which, may I remind you, was already translated into English for the U.K.—Xenoblade Chronicles is finally making its way here, to America, as a GameStop exclusive.

This was noticed by NeoGAF users this morning, and confirmed by several GameStop employees: You can now pre-order a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles at your local Gamestop. In fact, you have to pre-order it there, because the game is a GameStop exclusive, no doubt an attempt by Nintendo to save money on a potential loss. However, I’m not sure why Nintendo’s been so timid about it. There’s a decent following waiting to snatch this title up when it launches.

So, as much as we like to give GameStop a hard time for their used game policies and generally crappy business practices, they’ve given North American gamers a chance to play this phenomenal JRPG. Thank you, GameStop.

According to GameStop computers, we should see this one on the shelves on April 3.
