One of the most iconic mobile games ever is getting a sequel. Which is a little ironic, considering it’s technically had a bunch of follow-ups and spin-offs, but okay. If Rovio wants to go ahead and declare the forthcoming Angry Birds 2 the official sequel to Angry Birds , more power to the company. We’ll see if it holds up come July 30, 2015, the day of its big debut.
Though it seems as though Rovio is jumping the gun, here. Like it would have been wiser for the company to hold off on Angry Birds 2 , the true sequel to the game that started it all, until the movie comes out in 2016. But then, at the rate these games are churned out, new titles will certainly be available by then. Maybe that’s when we’ll get Angrier Birds?
