When Angry Birds launched as an iOS game, it spread like wildfire and quickly became one of the most popular games ever released on the iOS. Peter Vesterbacka from Rovio spoke of the brand’s future. He talked about continued updates with new levels, birds, and more for the current game, as well as the next Angry Birds title, Angry Birds Rio.  Rio releases on March 22 and Rovio is looking to expand the franchise onto console, but is intent on insuring that they will be able to support updates after the game is released. |
