Anonymous Gets Arrested?

Anonymous Gets Arrested?

None

Here is a piece of advice to all the hackers out there: It’s hard to remain anonymous when you are making news headlines left and right. This is a lesson that Anonymous—with a capital A—is learning quite well.

Though we heard that a few Anonymous members had been arrested in Europe and other territories over the past few months, we haven’t really heard anything about the US investigation before this point. Finally, it’s been reported that sixteen supposed members of Anonymous were captured yesterday. The members were largely unnamed except for one Giordani Jordan of New York, who recently was arrested and had his Laptop seized.

Anonymous recently launched DDoS attacks against major credit card companies, WordPress, and even government sites like the FBI and the Arizona State Police Department. They were also the number one scapegoat for the events of the massive PSN security breach.

Perhaps Anonymous is not as anonymous as they first thought. Will this stop the current rising trend of digital attacks, or will this just make Anonymous into martyrs? Only time will tell.
