David Jaffe, director of the Twisted Metal series, has announced the return of a character in the Twisted Metal series. Axel, who appeared in Twisted Metal 2, will be making his high-definition entrance on the PS3 version of Twisted Metal. Jaffe wrote the following on Twitter: For those asking about Axel in TMPS3. So yes he’s in and he has 2 attacks: he rolls up into a ball and for a limited time u can crush the hell out of people. How many crushes can u get b4 timer runs out?  Secondary special is a charge up shockwave that does little damage but knocks enemies hella far back. Great for clearing groups off rooftops or ledges and for clearing some space for urteammate in NUKE while he’s trying to launch a missile. If we can get it working across the net (it’s a fast attack) players should be able to jump the shockwave 2 defend against it. |
