Ever since the Kinect peripheral was first unveiled, gamers have been wondering if the peripheral would be used for “core” games as well as those designed for the casual audience. Though the offerings have been decidedly for the latter, a recent “well-connected” source has said that core gamers will soon be getting a killer app for the Kinect in the form of a Gears of War game. Although it was not said that this supposed Kinect-enabled game was the much-anticipated third iteration of the series, rumors are starting to swirl that the Kinect integration was the actual cause of the game’s delay announced earlier this year.  |
