If you’re like me, you can’t get enough of the block-busting fun of the LEGO franchise. Now, you’ll have it on the go for your iPad and iPhone!
Warner Brothers (along with Lego and TT Games) announced in a press release that it’s bringing the hit game LEGO Lord of the Rings to iOS. The press release suggests the game will take full advantage of the touch screen technology, as it will allow for “multiple control schemes” that “give fans of all ages the opportunity to find the play-style that suits them best as they delve into the world of Middle-earth and relive their favorite moments from the films on-the-go.”
Building on the huge popularity of both the LEGO franchise and the Lord of the Rings film series, this adventures gives players “…the opportunity to play on-the-go as their favorite Fellowship members in LEGO form, like Frodo, Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, and more, as they embark on a perilous journey to Mount Doom to destroy The One Ring and return peace to the land.”
Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games Publishing, is excited about the move to the iOS platform and the technology that Apples signature product brings with it. “…we’ve implemented the same quality gameplay mechanics with enhanced features specifically designed for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.” he said.
