Call of Duty is one of the biggest shooter franchises on the market today as Call of Duty: Black Ops’ record-shattering release last November demonstrates. Since then, gamers have been waiting patiently for news about the next Call of Duty title. Well, the wait may be coming to a close.  It appears Modern Warfare 3 may be approaching sooner than we thought. Findmakarov.com recently went live with audio tracks and images that strongly hint at a Modern Warfare 3 announcement. In addition, there is a countdown timer on the site that ends at 7:00 a.m. PST on Wednesday, March 2, right in the middle of GDC. The chances that this is pure coincidence are practically nonexistent. Gamers can more than likely expect Activision’s official announcement of Modern Warfare 3 this year at GDC. |
