Ouya Gets Limited Edition Console And Controller

None

Open source console Ouya has entered the last week of its Kickstarter period, and to celebrate its campaign has announced a new, limited edition console and controller.

Sporting a darker color scheme personally selected by Ouya designer Yves Behar, the limited edition console will be shipped to anyone who makes a donation of $140 or more to the project.

As for the special controller, it features the same color scheme as the controller, and now has new face buttons, containing the letters “O,” “U,” “Y,” and “A.” No word yet on whether or not these new buttons will become the norm for every Ouya controller in the future.

In addition, Ouya has announced a partnership with music video service VEVO, which will bring over 50,000 vids to the console.

As previously mentioned, Ouya has seven days left on its Kickstarter. It has over 47,000 backers at the moment, and has raised almost $6.1 million dollars. It is currently scheduled to launch in early 2013.
