The game received critical acclaim when it debuted. Critics still praise it for its impressive graphics for the Sega Saturn, branching routes, and unique dragon evolutions. Its graphics have even been compared to Super Mario 64 and Virtua Fighter 2.

Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Premise
This game is set in Imperial Year 71. It is a prequel to Panzer Dragoon which takes place 18 years later. In this post-apocalyptic world, war, survival, and imperialism are constant threats. And now an ancient being, Sestren, views humanity as a threat to the ecosystem and plans to wipe it out. Sestren is outside of time and space and has illusion and mind control skills. With all of their abilities, Sestren also activates a flying warship from the Ancient Age to destroy villages and hunt down the Heresy Dragon.
To stop Sestren and save their people, players can attack with either a gun or dragon lasers. This game even adds a new ability to the series, the Berserk attack. It hails dragon lasers on all enemies on screen and grants the player invulnerability. Panzer Dragoon II also introduces branching level paths, the Pandora’s Box menu, and the evolution of the player’s dragon.
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Main Character
In this prequel, players control Jean-Jacques Lundi. In Lundi’s village, people ride pack animals called coolias. Coolias born with wings and bioluminescent throats, also known as dragons, are considered untamable mutants and killed. While it is taboo in his village, Lundi raises a dragon he calls Lagi. He dreams of being able to soar the skies.
But what Lundi doesn’t know is his dragon is the Hersey Dragon. Lagi is meant to free humanity from the will of the Ancients, like Sestren. Years later when Lundi can take his dragon out for their first flight, his village is attacked by a flying warship. This 10,000-year-old flying warship is called Shelcoof and was sent by Sestren. After this attack, Lundi and Lagi go on a journey to destroy the warship and stop Sestren.

Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Cheat Code FAQ
Does Panzer Dragoon II Zwei have cheat codes?
Yes! Panzer Dragoon II Zwei has several cheat codes and unlockables for players to use. Players can double their speed, self-destruct, and more. It also has several unique features that players can unlock, like riding a winged Godzilla or unlocking the Pandora’s Box menu. And if you have a Pro Action Replay, there are even more cheats to discover.
What are cheat codes?
Cheat codes are exploits that change the game’s behavior and give players an advantage. They may help move on to a different level, make the player completely immune to damage, or do some other action that wouldn’t take place without them.
They can also make the game more accessible and appealing to casual gamers or those who find its current state inaccessible.
What is a Pro Action Replay?
A Pro Action Replay is a cheat device that lets players input different cheats for multiple retro platforms. They manipulate the memory of the game code to allow cheats like more money or more saves.
Are the cheats permanent?
No, do not worry. The cheats last until you quit the game. This includes the ones used with the Pro Action Replay. So if you want to change things up again, you can next time you load it up.
What makes a cheat device different?
Since developers intentionally implement traditional cheat codes in their games, not every game has them. But that does not mean players don’t want them. Hence, cheat devices were born. Devices like the Pro Action Replay allow players to do things the developer did not intend, while the developers implement regular cheat codes.
