I’m sure that many of you have already noticed, but I’m going to tell you anyway: the PlayStation Network is going to be down all day. Sony surprised players by announcing that they would be taking the network down for 14 hours worth of routine maintenance yesterday morning.

According to the PlayStation Blog, the outage will affect the following services:

  • PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.

  • PlayStation Network Account Management.

  • PlayStation Network Account Registration.



    Don’t worry though; you’ll still be able to collect those precious in-game trophies. Everything should re-sync perfectly once the network has been made available.
