It sounds like BioWare’s ambitious MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic may be releasing this September. It is rumored to have cost EA $300 million so far, making it the most expensive game EA has ever been involved in.  Unfortunately, investors are currently betting against this project, which is aiming for a traditional subscription model (monthly payment, similar to WoW). But if you think about it, it will only take 20 million months of a $15 subscription to break even. |
