Honestly, I don’t know much about Hugh Jackman’s upcoming robot boxing flick. The trailer for the movie makes it look extraordinarily uninteresting except for one thing: an Xbox 720 logo that briefly appears onscreen. Obviously this doesn’t necessarily mean that Microsoft has officially given their next console a title. It’s actually far more likely that the filmmakers are having a little fun with the future setting. (The film is set in 2020.) The Internet has been in heavy speculation for the last several months about the possibility of an Xbox 720 sometime in the near future, but Microsoft has remained characteristically tight lipped on the topic. 
1. How many times did our eagle-eyed viewer have to watch the trailer before noticing the logo? 2. Is it really possible that humanity could be watching giant robotic fisticuffs within the next 9 years? I’m really looking forward to a future like that, but I’m hoping it also comes with fewer Hugh Jackman movies. By Josh Engen |
