Trophy tracking website Exophase has posted a full list of Dead Rising trophies for PS4. This would be the first we’ve heard of a Dead Rising re-release, and the first time a Dead Rising game would be available on a non-Microsoft console. It seems very sudden and maybe a little sketchy, but the list is pretty comprehensive. In all there are 51 trophies listed, each with new artwork and specific descriptions.
While this would be the first Dead Rising game on a non-Microsoft platform, it won’t be the last. During this year’s E3 we learned that Dead Rising 4 is on the way, and it will be timed exclusive like Rise of the Tomb Raider before it. Come December, Dead Rising 4 will only be playable on Xbox One and Windows 10, but will eventually come to PS4 and Steam as well (likely about a year later). In the meantime, a Dead Rising remaster will have to do, and that’s not such a bad thing. The original game was a breakout hit, and should run wonderfully on current-gen hardware.
