RUMOR: EA To Unveil Battlefield Premium At E3?

None

Call of Duty: Elite was one of Activision’s big successes last year. This interactive, record-keeping, community experience has strengthened the CoD community and earned Activision tons of money. Never one to sleep on a good idea, EA is looking to launch a similar service for their competing FPS series Battlefield.

According to Battlefieldo, EA will unveil Battlefield Premium on June 4th, 2012, the date of the EA E3 press conference. Battlefield Premium will follow in Call of Duty: Elite’s footsteps by providing early content drops and unique items to members. According to Battlefieldo, the first perks Premium members will receive will include a special knife, a black dog tag, a set of soldier camos, weapon camos, and assignments.

In addition, Battlfieldo’s report also mentions a new untitled expansion set to come out in March 2013. We will see whether or not this report is accurate when we stop by EA’s press conference this year at E3.
