People who can’t get enough of Turtle Beach’s headsets will have two new items to add to the wishlist! The company has announced the Stealth 600 and 700 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One headsets. These are the latest wireless headsets with all sorts of amazing tech from the company, with the Stealth 600 available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One right now, Stealth 700 out for the Xbox One immediately, and Stealth 700 coming to the PlayStation 4 on September 24, 2017.
Let’s start with the Stealth 600. It offers Windows Sonic surround sound on the Xbox One and Turtle Beach Virtual Surround Sound on the PlayStation 4, with Superhuman Hearing tech letting you hear absolutely everything in the game. They have 50mm over-ear speakers, to be extra comfortable. The microphone is a flip-up model, so it is there when you need it, with mic monitoring so you can hear yourself and not need to shout and independent game and chat control to be sure you can hear everyone else. and They’re glasses-friendly, for people who wear glasses normally or use gaming specs like Gunnar’s. You can also enjoy various audio presets. Charge it once, and you’re good for 15 hours.
The Stealth 700 is rather similar. Basically everything you get in the Stealth 600 is present, and then some. With the PlayStation 4 version it has DTS: Headphone:X 7.1 channel surround sound, while the Xbox One version has Windows Sonic. Active Noise-Cancellation makes sure you only hear what is coming in through the speakers. The Dynamic Chat Boost option makes keeping in touch with people easier, so you can hear conversations over the in-game audio. What may be the handiest option is Bluetooth connectivity which works with the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app on your phone, letting you adjust settings quickly, switch to music, or move over to a phone call without any hesitation. It does have a shorter battery life than the Stealth 600, though, as it lasts about 10 hours.
The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 comes in at $99. Should you want the Stealth 700 and its extra features, that will be $149. Both might be good additions to a holiday wishlist this year!
