Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Brings Halo Wars Back

Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Brings Halo Wars Back

Microsoft has been gradually adding more and more Xbox 360 games to that sweet Xbox One library, because backwards compatibility is great. They tend to roll in a few games at a time, and this week three more have joined the lineup. Brace yourself, as it’s a great update. Why? Halo Wars is back!

Halo Wars is a strategic game set in the Halo universe. It’s also the one Halo game you couldn’t play on the Xbox One otherwise. The Halo: The Master Chief Collection added the first four Halo games. Halo 5: Guardians is a Xbox One exclusive. Getting Halo Wars is a missing piece of the puzzle.

The other two games added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list are fun too. They’re two fighters, Soul Calibur II and King of Fighters ‘98. Both were great games in their time and, since King of Fighters XIV seems to be a PlayStation 4 exclusive at the moment, KOF ’98 be a great way to still savor the series on the Xbox One..
