Over a year after its release, Super Mario Maker is still going strong. After all, what else are you gonna do on your Wii U these days? One particularly dedicated fan has recently earned some recognition for an excellent attempt to re-create the Game Boy classic, Super Mario Land , within Mario Maker ‘s constraints. For extra Youtube pizazz, creator KHAce patched in the original game’s music and sound effects to accompany a playthrough of the levels. Check it out:
There’s some great creativity on show here, as KHAce replaces various unique enemies with a mashup of the assets that are actually available in Mario Maker . If you want to play the levels for yourself, here are the codes:
