The original Final Fantasy Tactics was widely regarded as one of the best tactical RPGs of all time. The PSP remake, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, was everything that FFT was and more. New stories, new characters, new classes, and new abilities made this an extremely popular remake among tactical RPG fans. In fact, the game was so well-received it was eventually ported to the iPhone, and even though it cost a whole six dollars more on this platform ($15.99 up from $9.99), it was still quite popular.

Now the game is hitting iOS again, this time for the iPad. Yet again, it is receiving a price increase ($17.99 up from $15.99).



This means the most affordable version of the game, oddly enough, the PSP version which is still downloadable on the PSN store for $9.99 and is also playable on the Vita. Then again, the PSP version doesn’t include the touchscreen interface that the iPad and iPhone versions do, so anyone downloading the game for the PS Vita will be stuck using old fashioned buttons, D-pads, and control sticks.
