Metal Gear Solid developer Kojima Productions has opened a new studio in Los Angeles.
A job listing on Gamasutra confirms that the new studio is currently hiring for programmers, artists, and game developers.
Successful applicants for the game developer position will be work on developing the technology, systems and tools programming “for the core foundation of 3D action game.”
Kojima Productions is currently working on Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which is due for a launch on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime during 2013.
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima had confirmed that Ground Zeroes is a prequel to Metal Gear Solid 5, with the unannounced title possibly one of the projects Kojima Productions’ LA studio will be working on.
