PS3 Gets More GB

PS3 Gets More GB

None

Despite having already been announced for release in Japan earlier last month, the US has been left wondering when we’d be getting the new models of the PS3 that come with much heftier hard drives. That is until today, as Sony has finally made an official announcement concerning both the 160GB and 320GB models of their console in the US.

According to Gamasutra, the 160GB PS3 is now currently available and is priced the same as the previous 120GB version at $299. The 320GB PS3 will be coming in mid-September to coincide with the launch of Move as part of a bundle with the peripheral. For $399, the bundle will include a 320GB PS3, all the pieces required for Move, and a copy of Sports Champions. However, both of these versions are expected to be the standard black PS3s, so I would advise against continuing to hold your breath for the white versions that were released in Japan.
