Anonymous Gives Up PSN Attack

Anonymous Gives Up PSN Attack

None

Well, that was fast. Anonymous promised weeks of attacks on the PSN and various Sony websites. However, today they have suspended their attack and said they will no longer be targeting the PSN. After a total of four days, they have finally stopped their grand efforts that brought the PSN down for minutes at a time. In fact they even apologized in their “official” press release for inconveniencing gamers. Good for them.

Of course, since this is Anonymous, they do go out saying attacks of some form will continue, but don’t really say in what capacity. This is definitely a good move for them, as attacking Sony’s consumer base is not exactly the best way to get public opinion on your side.
