It has been teased via Twitter that BioWare will be hosting a roundtable on N7 Day (Friday, November 7) to reveal more details on the developer’s next Mass Effect game, typically referred to as “ Mass Effect 4 ” for lack of an official title.
The roundtable itself will be streamed live via Bioware’s official Twitch channel at 10am Pacific Standard Time / 6pm Greenwich Mean Time.
It’s already been confirmed that the infamous Mako will be making a reappearance in the next Mass Effect game, and that the game will reference the series’ original trilogy . The game itself, however, will not be directly related to it. During BioWare’s panel at this year’s Comic-Con San Diego, it was revealed that the next Mass Effect is “ years away from launch. ”
In-progress footage of BioWare’s next Mass Effect was revealed during this year’s E3 , where several members of BioWare’s team discussed the studio’s goal to create a story that can be discovered as interactive fiction. Some familiar species, such as humans and korgans, will also make an appearance, too.
